How it works

 

We use one of the most popular nutrition tracking apps to track your food intake for 8 weeks. Based on your activity level, body type and goals, I’ll set your calorie and macro (carbs, protein, and fat) targets.  You’ll learn what foods and how much to eat, rather than following a restrictive diet plan.

By putting you in charge of choosing your foods, we teach you to stop dieting and give you flexibility to eat a wide variety of foods as well as enjoy life too!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much weight will I lose?

During the 8 weeks, you can expect to lose 300-500g per week, although at the start you often lose weight faster. Average weight loss is about 3-5 kg over the 8 weeks. While this may not seem like a lot, research shows that weight loss at the rate of about 300-500g per week is healthier and more sustainable.

Most clients continue with the habits they've learned after the 8 weeks and will continue to lose weight and achieve their goals after the program finishes. 

 

I'm not sure I have the time to count calories every day - isn't it a lot of work?

While it may seem like a big commitment, tracking your food on an app gives you the best picture of what you are actually consuming each day and is a great step if you truly want to change your body.

 

It will take you about 15 minutes each day for the first week as you get used to the app but it will only require a small time commitment for the rest of the program.

 

I've set up the program to make it as easy for you as possible and I will enter in foods you normally eat for you before the program begins. After this 8 week program you will have a better understanding of servings sizes and how much to eat. Then you can choose whether or not to continue on using the app.

 

Do I need a smartphone?

No, you can do this program on a computer as well.

I'm not very tech-savvy. Is that ok?

Yes. It may take you a bit longer to figure everything out but I'll also give you a detailed guide book to walk you through everything. I've had all ages and tech levels do the program and everyone likes the app and finds it easy to use.

 

Can't I just set up the app myself?

You can but most people find the set up confusing and aren't sure how to set their calories and macros. Rather than struggle with it and setting random calorie targets, I'll set your calories and macros based on the best lean eating principles and I'll also give you tons of help to make using the app easier and more effective for you.
